In this blog, we’ll walk you through what a typical day looks like for an international student. From morning routines to evening hangouts, discover the real student life beyond the classroom.
Morning: Starting the Day Right
Most students begin their day early, especially if they have morning lectures.
7:00 AM – Wake UpTime to grab a quick breakfast—toast, cereal, or sometimes something cultural and comforting from back home!
8:00 AM – Head to UniversityStudents walk, bike, take the train, or hop on a bus to campus. Most campuses are well connected and student-friendly.
9:00 AM – First Class BeginsClasses can vary from large lecture halls to small group seminars. Expect interactive sessions, discussions, and the use of digital platforms for assignments.

Midday: Classes, Cafeteria & Campus Life

1:00 PM – Study or Lab TimeAfter lunch, it’s back to learning. Depending on your program, you may attend labs, group study sessions, or work on independent projects.
2:30 PM – Library or Online ResearchMost students spend time in the library or computer labs preparing for their next class or finishing up assignments.
Afternoon: Work, Chores, and Social Life
Many international students balance study with part-time jobs or campus roles.
3:30 PM – Part-Time Job or InternshipStudents work in cafés, retail stores, university offices, or even online jobs. This helps cover living expenses and builds real-world experience.
5:00 PM – Grocery Run or Campus ErrandsAfter class and work, it’s time to do everyday chores—shopping, laundry, or picking up a package from the student center.
Evening: Rest, Relax, Repeat
6:30 PM – DinnerWhether cooking in a shared student kitchen or going out with friends, dinner is often a time to connect and unwind.
7:30 PM – Club Meetings or GymStudents might join cultural societies, sports teams, or volunteer groups. Many use this time to go to the gym or join yoga classes.
