Sponsor Pastels in the Park

Sending Kids to Camp

Gateway Education is a local 501c (3) nonprofit organization focused on creating self-awareness and healthy relationships through educational, recreational, and artistic activities in nature. We are looking for prospective sponsors to send kids to camp this summer. For a minimum of $150, you can not only help send a local child to summer day camp but also provide a 4’ by 5’ canvas for a local artist on July 4th. During the July 4th celebration, more than 10,000 people from and visiting the area will wander up and down beachfront park looking at the amazing pastel pieces that change each year. With contribution, a fabric banner advertising your family, business, group, or union name will be placed between the art pieces in the middle of Beachfront park.

Important information regarding Pastels in the Park:
  • Art pieces are kept separate from promotions.

  • All patron support goes towards camp scholarships and summer camp program activities.

  • Artists are 16 years of age or older with a demonstrated body of work.

  • When dealing with issues regarding controversial pieces our position is to support freedom of speech (It is Fourth of July after all).

  • Payment and names must be received by June 30th.

If you are interested in sponsoring:
